Mint refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Mint in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 4 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Mint refill pack here
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.25 per 10 ml.
Mint refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: mint in Nouméa works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint refill pack really costs in Nouméa
Mint in Nouméa reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested mint in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where mint goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.25 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On mint the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.25 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.25 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF60 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
