Mint refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Mint in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 7 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Mint is allowed to say
Mint in Nouméa reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mint refill pack really costs in Nouméa
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.77 per 10 ml.
How we tested mint in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where mint goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.77 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
