Mintice in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 9 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Mintice is allowed to say
Mintice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.73 per 10 ml.
Mintice in Nouméa reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long mintice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested mintice in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
