Mintice starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Mintice in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 5 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a starter kit for mintice
The honest read on mintice: 14 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Mintice in Nouméa reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long mintice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mintice starter kit really costs in Nouméa
We run mintice the same way in Nouméa: same starter kit, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested mintice in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mintice bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a mintice bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.05 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mintice tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.05 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF41 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
