Nutty box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Nutty in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a box mod for nutty
Nutty prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.17 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at nutty in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: nutty in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a nutty box mod really costs in Nouméa
We run nutty the same way in Nouméa: same box mod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested nutty in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a nutty bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does nutty in a box mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is nutty legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Why does nutty taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the nutty blend itself harsh.
