Nutty box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Nutty in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Nutty box mod here
A nutty box mod from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.4 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Nutty prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.4 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long nutty tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a nutty box mod really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at nutty in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested nutty in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every nutty bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long nutty in Nouméa survives.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
