How to tell a good pen device from a repack
Nutty prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.03 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at nutty in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: nutty in Nouméa works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a nutty pen device really costs in Nouméa
Nutty prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.03 per 10 ml.
How we tested nutty in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every nutty bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why nutty tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.03 per 10 ml.
