Nutty pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Nutty in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the nutty habit
Nutty pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run nutty the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long nutty tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a nutty pen device really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested nutty in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why nutty tastes flat after two days.
