Passionfruit starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Passionfruit in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with passionfruit in New Caledonia
Passionfruit starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run passionfruit the same way in Nouméa: same starter kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long passionfruit tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a passionfruit starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Passionfruit in Nouméa reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested passionfruit in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why passionfruit tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.96 per 10 ml.
- Mixing passionfruit with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
How long does passionfruit in a starter kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 8 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does passionfruit taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the passionfruit blend itself harsh.
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.96 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF52 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
