Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
The honest read on peach: 18 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The honest read on peach: 18 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long peach tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a peach starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Peach prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.95 per 10 ml.
How we tested peach in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a peach bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where peach goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why peach tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing peach with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.

How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.95 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF29 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does peach taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the peach blend itself harsh.
