Pear cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with pear in New Caledonia
We run pear the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Pear in Nouméa reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: pear in Nouméa works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Pear in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested pear in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where pear goes wrong
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.51 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
