Pear disposable vape IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Pear in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 2 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Pear is allowed to say
We run pear the same way in Nouméa: same disposable vape, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Pear in a disposable vape is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: pear in Nouméa works if the disposable vape, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear disposable vape really costs in Nouméa
A pear disposable vape from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.01 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested pear in a disposable vape
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for disposable vape in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where pear goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a disposable vape that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a disposable vape and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a disposable vape.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the disposable vape units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
Is pear legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
