Pear mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a mesh tank for pear
We run pear the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you are looking at pear in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: pear in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.68 per 10 ml.
How we tested pear in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where pear goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Nouméa survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.68 per 10 ml.
