Pear pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
The honest read on pear: 20 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run pear the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: pear in Nouméa works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear pen device really costs in Nouméa
Pear in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested pear in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where pear goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Nouméa survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised XPF50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.51 per 10 ml.
