Pear RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Pear RDA here
If you are looking at pear in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: pear in Nouméa works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear RDA really costs in Nouméa
A pear RDA from the online options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.25 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested pear in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where pear goes wrong
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.25 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF38 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
