Plain in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 3 weeks, e-liquid bundle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What plain costs in Nouméa
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.36 per 10 ml.
We run plain the same way in Nouméa: same e-liquid bundle, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, e-liquid bundle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plain e-liquid bundle really costs in Nouméa
Plain in Nouméa reaches the shelf in e-liquid bundle formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested plain in a e-liquid bundle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the e-liquid bundle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the e-liquid bundle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plain goes wrong
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.36 per 10 ml.
