What plain costs in Nouméa
Plain in Nouméa reaches the shelf in nicotine salt bottle formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain nicotine salt bottle really costs in Nouméa
Plain in a nicotine salt bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested plain in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plain goes wrong
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.23 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
How long does plain in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 6 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
