Plain pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Plain in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 3 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Plain in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plain pen device really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested plain in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where plain goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.53 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF42 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
