What a plain pen device really costs in Nouméa
We run plain the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested plain in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where plain goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.54 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should plain start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
