Plain prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Plain in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 7 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with plain in New Caledonia
Plain in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.91 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plain prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.91 per 10 ml.
How we tested plain in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plain goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.91 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
