Plum in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Plum box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run plum the same way in Nouméa: same box mod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 16 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plum box mod really costs in Nouméa
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.47 per 10 ml.
How we tested plum in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plum goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.47 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
