Plum mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with plum in New Caledonia
We run plum the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A plum mesh tank from the compared options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.32 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Plum in Nouméa reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested plum in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.32 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.32 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF42 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
