Plum pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a pen device for plum
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Plum in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: plum in Nouméa works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum pen device really costs in Nouméa
We run plum the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested plum in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where plum goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.75 per 10 ml.
