Plum pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 3 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What plum costs in Nouméa
Plum in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum pod kit really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at plum in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plum in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where plum goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.63 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.63 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF29 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.63 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should plum start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
