Plum pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 4 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Plum is allowed to say
We run plum the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Plum in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: plum in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum pod kit really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on plum: 24 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where plum goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Nouméa survives.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
