Plum in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 8 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What plum costs in Nouméa
The honest read on plum: 13 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run plum the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: plum in Nouméa works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.89 per 10 ml.
How we tested plum in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plum goes wrong
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
