Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
If you are looking at plum in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Plum in Nouméa reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: plum in Nouméa works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum refill pack really costs in Nouméa
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.26 per 10 ml.
How we tested plum in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plum goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.26 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
