Plum sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 8 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What plum costs in Nouméa
The honest read on plum: 14 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run plum the same way in Nouméa: same sub-ohm kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
Plum in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested plum in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where plum goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should plum start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
