Raspberry starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Raspberry in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
Raspberry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.06 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long raspberry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a raspberry starter kit really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested raspberry in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every raspberry bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where raspberry goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing raspberry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does raspberry in a starter kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does raspberry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the raspberry blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On raspberry the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.06 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
