Salted 60 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Salted in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 2 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
A salted 60 ml bottle from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.43 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: salted in Nouméa works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted 60 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.43 per 10 ml.
How we tested salted in a 60 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where salted goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
