Salted pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Salted in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the salted habit
Salted in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The honest read on salted: 12 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted pen device really costs in Nouméa
Salted pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested salted in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where salted goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.62 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for salted in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How long does salted in a pen device last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
