Home / Salted RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist

How to tell a good RDA from a repack

We run salted the same way in Nouméa: same RDA, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

Salted RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.

If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a salted RDA really costs in Nouméa

Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.

How we tested salted in a RDA

1. Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
2. Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
3. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.

• Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
• Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
• Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
• The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.

Where salted goes wrong

• Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
• Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
• Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

The rules that apply here

Packaging for salted in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
