If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.36 per 10 ml.
How we tested salted in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where salted goes wrong
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.36 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF32 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
