Sour in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 6 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good 100 ml bottle from a repack
The honest read on sour: 17 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour 100 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Sour 100 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sour in a 100 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where sour goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
