Sour mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Sour in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good mesh tank from a repack
The honest read on sour: 22 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Sour mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Sour in Nouméa reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested sour in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.59 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
Is sour legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
How long does sour in a mesh tank last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
