Sour pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Sour in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 8 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Sour is allowed to say
If you are looking at sour in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
A sour pod kit from the value options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.24 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Sour pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sour in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where sour goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
