Sour refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Sour in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a refill pack for sour
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour refill pack really costs in Nouméa
Sour in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested sour in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sour goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Nouméa survives.

On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.23 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF29 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
