Sour vape pen IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Sour in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 9 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run sour the same way in Nouméa: same vape pen, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on sour: 23 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour vape pen really costs in Nouméa
Sour in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested sour in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sour in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sour the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.43 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does sour in a vape pen last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should sour start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
