Sourcherry box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Sourcherry in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Sourcherry is allowed to say
Sourcherry in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you are looking at sourcherry in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: sourcherry in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry box mod really costs in Nouméa
Sourcherry box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sourcherry in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sourcherry tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.58 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF61 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does sourcherry in a box mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 6 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
