Sourcherry mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Sourcherry in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 3 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sourcherry habit
Sourcherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.87 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long sourcherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sourcherry mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested sourcherry in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sourcherry in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.87 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
