Sourcherry squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Sourcherry in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
We run sourcherry the same way in Nouméa: same squonk mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you are looking at sourcherry in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sourcherry squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested sourcherry in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.59 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sourcherry tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sourcherry in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
How long does sourcherry in a squonk mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 4 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.59 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF46 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
