Sourcherry sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Sourcherry in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 9 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Sourcherry sub-ohm kit here
Sourcherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.12 per 10 ml.
We run sourcherry the same way in Nouméa: same sub-ohm kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long sourcherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sourcherry sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested sourcherry in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sourcherry in Nouméa survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.

How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.12 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF45 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
