Spiced prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Spiced in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 6 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What spiced costs in Nouméa
The honest read on spiced: 22 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.73 per 10 ml.
The short version: spiced in Nouméa works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested spiced in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a spiced bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
