Spiced in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 7 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the spiced habit
Spiced sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run spiced the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: spiced in Nouméa works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
We run spiced the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested spiced in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long spiced in Nouméa survives.
