Spiced starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Spiced in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 3 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What spiced costs in Nouméa
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.83 per 10 ml.
Spiced in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long spiced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a spiced starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Spiced starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested spiced in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.83 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for spiced in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
