Sweet mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Sweet in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 4 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Sweet mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: sweet in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sweet mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Sweet in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested sweet in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.23 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
Is sweet legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
How long does sweet in a mesh tank last?
In Nouméa we measured 4 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
