Sweet pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Sweet in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Sweet is allowed to say
Sweet sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Sweet pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sweet pen device really costs in Nouméa
Sweet in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested sweet in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sweet the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.16 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
