Sweet pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Sweet in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a pen device for sweet
Sweet prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.08 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at sweet in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 11 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sweet pen device really costs in Nouméa
Sweet sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested sweet in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Mixing sweet with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should sweet start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does sweet in a pen device last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
