Sweet in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 4 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good refill pack from a repack
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you are looking at sweet in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long sweet tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sweet refill pack really costs in Nouméa
Sweet prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.63 per 10 ml.
How we tested sweet in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should sweet start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sweet the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.63 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
