Sweet squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Sweet in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
A sweet squonk mod from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.43 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at sweet in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sweet squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
We run sweet the same way in Nouméa: same squonk mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested sweet in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a sweet bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.43 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for sweet in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should sweet start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
